Safe and Secure Scaffolding

Employing qualified people to erect scaffolding and carry out building work helps to make sure your building site is a safe place. We always discuss safety issues with all persons involved in the project.

In particular, we are fully aware of the following points:

- Scaffolding should always be erected on a firm, level foundation

- If there is a risk to the public, we schedule scaffolding work for quiet times or we can get a highway closure from the local council

- All boards, tubes, fittings and parts used are consistent with British Standards

- Strong and secure commercial ladders are used

- Heavy or bulk loads are not carried up and down ladders

- Scaffolding structures are checked weekly and inspected after alterations, damage and extreme weather conditions

- Components are never removed during work
